DC Thomson Family History has appointed Monisha Saldanha as Brand Director at Genes Reunited. Monisha, formerly Head of Brand Extensions at Guardian News & Media, will join the business in March 2014.

Working closely with Chief Customer Officer, Juliet Bauer, Monisha will take overall responsibility for brand positioning.  She will develop and drive the brand strategy whilst maintaining Genes Reunited’s identity as a community-based product.

Monisha brings a wealth of brand development experience to the role.  She has worked with a number of national and international companies including Ebay UK and Jamie Oliver Ltd.  At Guardian News & Media, she was responsible for developing new digital businesses for the brand.
